A Season of Prayer: For an Election

In the video above, Presiding Bishop Michael Curry speaks about A Season of Prayer: For an Election.

With Election Day less than one month away, the world around us is getting more noisy by the day. Seeking wisdom through prayer feels most important in this time.

In partnership with Forward Movement, The Episcopal Church’s Office of Government Relations and Presiding Bishop Michael Curry call on Episcopalians to participate in A Season of Prayer: For an Election from October 27th through November 4th. This 9-day period of devotional prayers, also known as a prayer novena, will be a time to pray with intention for the people of this nation and of this earth, our leaders and voters, and all of God’s creation.

If you or your congregation is interested in participating in A Season of Prayer: For an Election you can sign up here to get devotionals by email. You can also download printable materials for distribution.

And on social media, please visit the diocesan Facebook and Instagram for daily prayers. You can also:download shareable social media images for your own church or personal social media accounts!
