Diocesan clergy and laity renew baptismal and ordination vows at two services

Clergy and laity renewed their baptismal and (for clergy) ordination vows yesterday at the first in-person Renewal of Vows services held in the Diocese since 2019.

Held annually during or just prior to Holy Week, and offered online-only in 2020 and 2021, the Renewal of Vows service is led by our Bishop and is a celebration of our shared ministry. Holy Eucharist is celebrated, and the Bishop also consecrates the Chrism, oil used by the bishop and priests to anoint the newly baptized.

This year, two services were held—one at Christ Church in Binghamton and one at Grace Church in Baldwinsville. A recording of the second service is available below:
