If you’ve ever wanted to see the land and cultures that shaped Jesus and his closest friends, now is your opportunity. In August 2026, we will be on diocesan pilgrimage to Israel and Palestine, through Qumri Pilgrimages. On this 10-day tour, you will travel to Nazareth, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee, and experience the geography that shaped Jesus’ ministry. You will also hear from and worship with our Palestinian Anglican siblings who work tirelessly to incarnate God’s love for all people in this holy and conflicted place. The cost for double occupancy is $2,845 per person, plus airfare. Everything (and I mean everything) is included in that price–land transportation, meals, guides, tips, translation, guest speakers, hotels, etc.

Join us for dinner and conversation with Iyad Qumri of Qumri Pilgrimages on Friday, June 12 at The Retreat in Liverpool from 5:00-8:00 PM.
Born and raised in Jerusalem, Iyad has spent more than thirty years leading pilgrims through the Holy Land. As a Palestinian Christian whose family continues to live and work there, he brings not only deep historical knowledge and decades of experience, but also a personal perspective on the life, faith, and witness of Christians in the Holy Land today.
These gatherings will offer an opportunity to hear about the lived experience of Palestinian Christians, learn what pilgrimage in the Holy Land is truly like, and explore how walking the places of Scripture can deepen faith and transform our understanding of the Gospel.
Iyad has guided pilgrims from many Christian traditions, including Episcopal, Catholic, and Methodist groups, and has been recognized for his ministry and service as a Canon in the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. His pilgrimages are known not simply as tours, but as opportunities for prayer, encounter, and spiritual renewal.
