Attention Organ Music Lovers! St. Paul’s Church in downtown Syracuse will host The Arthur Poister Competition in Organ Playing, Friday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m. which is free and open to the public. Three fabulous finalists will each present pieces from the baroque, romantic and contemporary periods, in 30 minute sessions. Come hear some fantastic organists playing a fantastic instrument. And, you, too, can participate in choosing the audience prize! The competition is sponsored by the Syracuse Chapter of The American Guild of Organists. The preliminary and final contestants are all under the age of 30 and come from the continental United States and Canada.
