The College is a program of the Diocese of Rochester in partnership with the Diocese of Central New York. We seek to develop healthy, faithful, sustainable congregations able to fulfill their calling to be the body of Christ in a particular place, time, and community. The training includes exploring theory, engaging in applied exercises and experiential learning, and planning, doing, and reflecting on projects in the parish. The College is offered in a choice of two formats:
This year’s weeklong intensive is July 21-27, 2019 (beginning Sunday at 3:00 p.m. through the following Saturday at noon). This year’s weekend sessions are February 22-23, April 26-27, October 11-12, November 15-16, 2019. Each weekend begins Friday at 6:00 p.m. and concludes Saturday at 6:00 p.m., staying overnight. All sessions are held at Notre Dame Retreat House in Canandaigua, NY. The cost of the College, including room and board, is $900.
Please contact the Rev. Paul Frolick ([email protected]), the coordinator for the College, with questions or to register for either of this year’s sessions. You can also contact other folks from Central New York who have attended the College: The Rev. Canon Carrie Schofield-Broadbent, the Rev. Canon John Crosswaite, the Rev. Joell Szachara, the Rev.
