What’s covered in a regional meeting?
Regional meetings prepare delegates and congregations for Convention. Everyone in the diocese is encouraged to attend a meeting.
- Our diocesan vision, mission, and rule of life: Your Visioning Team has been praying, listening, and working together to draft a vision statement, mission statement, and rule of life that will guide our diocesan community. The regional meetings will be your first opportunity to see the draft, share your feedback, and start dreaming about how a common diocesan-wide vision might make a difference in your congregation and community.
- Budget hearing: Diocesan Board members will present the proposed 2020 diocesan budget and answer questions.
- Resolutions: Resolutions that are in the proper order and have been received by the October 1st deadline will be available as handouts but will not be discussed at regional meetings. A resolution hearing will take place after dinner at Convention on Friday, November 8th.
- Bishop Duncan-Probe will host a Q&A at each regional meeting.
