Join Episcopalians from across the Diocese of Central New York to share God’s love at the annual CNY Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, June 25th! If you can, please fill out this quick form to let us know you’re coming.

We’ll gather at the parade-start point in the Syracuse Inner Harbor beginning at 9:00 a.m. (come between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. to help decorate our truck, prepare for Eucharist, and have fun!). At 10:00 a.m., we will share a parking-lot Holy Eucharist (Bishop DeDe Duncan-Probe, celebrant and preacher) before we march in the parade at 11:00 a.m. Please see “Gathering” and “Parking” below for complete details.

If you aren’t up to marching, we encourage you to look for us as you enjoy the parade–and come join the Eucharist even if you’re not marching!

Gathering (Parade Line-up and Eucharist)

Please join Bishop DeDe Duncan-Probe at our parade line-up location for a celebration of Holy Eucharist at 10:00 a.m.

You are also very welcome to arrive any time between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. to help decorate our truck and set up.

The parade line-up area will be the furthest Destiny USA parking lot on Solar Street. The lot is located on Solar Street between Bear Street and Hiawatha Boulevard, and is the lot closest to Bear Street and Onondaga Creek (see map). When you arrive, please look for the CHECK IN HERE sign and ask for directions to the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York staging area.

Parking and Bathrooms

For more information about Parking, please visit cnypride.org/parking. FREE parking is available in the Destiny USA parking lots nearby the parade line up. Additional parking info at the link. Parade organizers will have one accessible portapotty and one traditional portapotty in the parade line up area. There will be several more portapotties on the main festival grounds. Participants are also welcome to use the facilities in Destiny USA.

Safety and Wellness

Please be prepared for heat and sun. Please bring water, sunscreen, hats, and anything else you may need to stay cool and hydrated (the Diocese will also have bottled water available at our gathering place). The pavement in the parking lot can get hot, and there is little natural shade in the parking lot or on the parade route. An EMT and ambulance will be on site at the festival and parade.
