|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Friday, repeating until March 26, 2021

An allegorical tale about a bus ride from hell to heaven — “The Great Divorce” by C. S. Lewis — is the focus of the Church of the Resurrection’s Lenten study, on Zoom. The sessions are open to anyone who wishes to participate. All you need is the book and a telephone or internet connection. Lewis’s works of fiction, including most famously “The Chronicles of Narnia,” engagingly reflect on Christian themes. In “The Great Divorce,” Lewis writes of the yawning divide between good and evil. Our discussions are steered by a study guide prepared by Alan Vermilye. To take part in, or listen in on, these discussions, please contact the Church of the Resurrection office: call 315-343-3501 or email [email protected]
