St. Margaret’s Ecumenical and Retreat Center at 47 Jordan Road in New Hartford, NY, will hold a Summer Jam Concert and Dessert Social on Tuesday, September 7th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. with Billboard-charting singer-songwriter Sherry Anne and regionally-acclaimed singer-songwriter Donna Mucks.
Admission is free; a benefit offering will be invited.
Bring a lawn chair; if it rains, the event will move inside.
Born with a bilateral hearing and speech impairment, Sherry Anne sings with an elegant voice to share an inspirational message of hope and faith. Donna Mucks was on a mountain retreat when she was gifted with the inspiration for her first song. She often shares her gifts of song and storytelling at children’s hospitals and with military veterans.
St. Margaret’s was built in 1937; while the Sisters of St. Margaret were in residence they welcomed people of all faiths. Today, Executive Director Judith H. Reilly and a nonprofit Board of Trustees carry on St. Margaret’s tradition of hospitality. Learn more at stmargaretshouseny.org.
