The Diocesan Youth Ministry invites youth in grades 6-12 to enjoy a FREE weekend of winter fun. We’ll volunteer at the Samaritan Center, a local community outreach program, enjoy an evening of skating at the Clinton Square Ice Rink in downtown Syracuse, and spend the night at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church before Sunday morning worship.
Drop-off: Saturday, January 25th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 310 Montgomery Street, Syracuse. Please pull up in front of the church on Montgomery Street and buzz for the door to be unlocked.
Pick-up: Sunday, January 26th at 12:00 p.m.
Going to Episcopal Night at Syracuse Crunch on Friday? Stay over! Youth attending Episcopal Night at Syracuse Crunch hockey can spend the night at St. Paul’s on Friday, January 24th. Please note that you must purchase tickets for the game separately. If you’re going to the game and plan to spend Friday night, please let us know when you register. Personal belongings can be dropped off at St. Paul’s before or after the game; please contact Tory and Kristen Blum to make arrangements.
Please register online at winter-overnight.eventbrite.com by Saturday, January 18th. There is no cost for the event and ice-skate rentals are covered (youth events are sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York). In addition to registering, each participant must bring a completed medical release form to the event.
This is a free event sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York. If you can, please bring a donation for the Samaritan Center, where we’ll be volunteering on Saturday. They’ve asked us for: large canned fruit, canned soup & vegetables, napkins, paper towels, sandwich bags, sugar & creamer packets, cereal, individual oatmeal/cereal, breakfast bars, jelly, butter, fruit juice, and drink mixes.
