Convention: Lay Delegate Certificates Due

Lay Delegate Certificates for the 2018 Diocesan Convention are due to the diocesan office today. Lay Delegate Certificates were sent to each parish in April. Lay Delegate Certificates affirm the following: The eligibility of the chosen delegates: A layperson 18 years of age or older; A confirmed communicant; Attends worship regularly and contributes to the support of the parish for at least 12 months prior to being chosen. Learn more about the Learning Communities initiative. This second training for Learning Communities Initiative participants will help participants use action learning to deepen their exploration of what they think God might be up to. The idea is to help participants “behave their way into new thinking,” rather than only trying to think their way into new behaviors.
