Silent Vigil in Memory of George Floyd

On May 10, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., please join Bishop DeDe Duncan-Probe at Grace Episcopal Church in Syracuse for a silent candlelight vigil and prayer as we remember George Floyd and our own call to take action against systemic racism. This vigil will be recorded for inclusion in a multi-diocese online Memorial Service for Mr. Floyd to be broadcast on May 25th, featuring Presiding Bishop Michael Curry as preacher.

Speak Faith is a safe environment to explore our faith and get courageous sharing it. Five group meetings will focus on the Bible, how we talk about God, Anglican history and identity, and faith and justice. In each session we’ll go deep with a guest teacher and reflection in small groups. Between sessions we’ll stay connected through prayer partnerships, personal study, and fun activities.

Title IV Training

Diocesan vice-chancellor Martha Berry will lead a training on Title IV on Monday, May 17th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. via Zoom. This is a required training for people seeking ordination to holy orders, and is open to other lay and clergy leaders who are interested in learning more about our church's disciplinary process.
