Small Church Resource Group: The Rule of St. Benedict

The Small Church Resource Group is for leaders from our smallest churches (average Sunday attendance of less than 25). Every other month, we meet on Zoom to share what works and how we're responding to current challenges and opportunities. February's topic is "The Rule of St. Benedict." Developed in the 6th century during a pandemic and a period of great political instability and societal disintegration, Benedict’s rule for his monks, grounded in prayer and listening, is a great spiritual resource for individuals and congregations today. We’ll reflect on how to incorporate aspects of stability, obedience, and conversion into our lives and our ministries.
