Submissions
Through stories, news, and resources, the Messenger inspires, informs, and equips diocesan leaders, strengthening the diocesan community and empowering local ministries.
We invite you to submit stories and photographs highlighting your parish’s ministries, with a particular focus on how you are listening and connecting to God, your neighbors, and communities.
Share an event or announcement
Each edition of The Messenger includes a listing of events that are happening in parishes for the next two weeks and provides readers with a link to our full parish events calendar. To add an event to the calendar, please submit your parish event promotion request online.
Once you submit your event, it will be pending approval by our communication team who will review your listing and may edit it or reach out to you for clarification. Pending events are reviewed weekly on Monday mornings.
Submitting an event does not guarantee broader promotion from the diocesan communication team (e.g., pre-event feature story, live event coverage, post-event feature story, social media promotion, press release creation and pitching, addition to community calendars, etc.). We are happy to help with broader event promotion, however! To discuss diocesan event promotion support, email communications@cnyepiscopal.org.
