Standing Together In Love and Light
STILL is a ministry group formed by lay and ordained individuals from across the Diocese of Central New York. Our commitment is to stand for the dignity of every human being. We are grounded in our faith as stated in our Baptismal Covenant and our Diocesan Rule of Life. Our hope is that our passion will inspire others to advocate for dignity of all through prayer, to provide safe spaces for people to speak their truth, to have words to respond in the face of injustice, and that we may all work together to be agents of grassroots change.
We want to connect people with existing agencies and services that can assist in our commitment to justice, peace and respect for all of God’s children. All are welcome to join us in this ministry.
Monthly Compline for Peace and Justice
The world seems to be very unsettled right now. As followers of Jesus, we are called to prayer in times such as these. It is our intention to offer Compline for Peace and Justice the 4th Monday of each month for the remainder of the year. We hope this service will bring a peaceful end to your day and ground you in our baptismal promises to love our neighbors and to respect the dignity of every human being. STILL will livestream our Compline for Peace and Justice the 4th Monday of each month at 8:30 pm on the diocesan Facebook and YouTube pages. Each service will be recorded so it may be viewed at your convenience.
