Binghamton: Blue Christmas Service

We gather to pray, sing, light candles, have laying on of hands. Afterwards we have a carol sing starting with quieter carols.

Oneida: “When Christmas Hurts” Service of Reflection and Prayer

For all who grieve at Christmas time and all who wish to offer comfort and support. A service of reflection and prayer.

When: Tuesday, December 11th, 7:00 p.m.
Where: St. John’s Episcopal Church, 341 Main Street, Oneida.

Owego: Blue Christmas Service

The Rev. Trula Hollywood will provide a Blue Christmas service on December 15, 2018 at 7 p.m. as a “Space to Bring Our Sadness to God” at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 117 Main Street, Owego. The service will include candle lighting as a Litany of Remembrance and fellowship time after the service.

Manlius: Blue Christmas Service

Christmas is a time in which we celebrate the birth of Jesus, yet for many people the holiday season is stressful or difficult. In recognition of this reality, Christ Church, Manlius is holding a Blue Christmas service on Sunday, December 17 at 7:00 p.m. We welcome everyone who might appreciate a quiet, thoughtful, meditative service. The evening will include Scripture readings, prayer, and music.

Marcellus: Blue Christmas Service

Cortland: Blue Christmas Service

For those grieving the loss of loved ones.

When: Monday, December 17th, 7:00 p.m.
Where: Grace & Holy Spirit Episcopal/Lutheran Church, 13 Court Street, Cortland.

Cazenovia: The Longest Night

A healing service for anyone who finds Christmas to be a difficult time.

When: Tuesday, December 18th, 7:00 p.m.
Where: St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (in the Parish Hall), 10 Mill Street, Cazenovia.

Endicott: Blue Christmas Service

Featuring Holy Eucharist.

When: Wednesday, December 19th, 6:30 p.m.
Where: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 200 Jefferson Ave, Endicott.

Auburn: Longest Night Service

Quiet service/worship of prayer, healing and soft music. People who are ill or grieving a loss, those for whom the holidays prompts sadness: this service is most specifically for you and friends or loved ones who share your sadness.

Where: The Episcopal Church of Saints Peter & John, 169 Genesee Street, Auburn.

Clinton: The Longest Night: A Service of Hope and Remembrance

A quiet, meditative Ecumenical service for those experiencing sadness or grief of many kinds. Held on the Winter Solstice (longest night of the year). Join us for this service of comfort and hope.

When: Friday, December 21st, 6:00 p.m.

Greene: The Longest Night Service
