Conversations Against Fear: Addressing Islamophobia

Join us for a discussion on “Conversations Against Fear: Addressing Islamophobia” on April 16, 2024, at 6:00 PM via Zoom.

Islamophobia, the irrational fear or prejudice against Islam and Muslims, is unfortunately prevalent today, leading to discrimination and injustice. As followers of Jesus, it’s crucial to stand against prejudice and strive for peace and understanding.

Panelists include Imam Amir Durić, Syracuse University Muslim Chaplain, and the Rev. Megan Castellan, Canon to the Ordinary, who will discuss root causes and impact. We encourage active participation to combat Islamophobia and promote empathy and solidarity.

Whether you’re familiar with the issue or new to it, join us to listen, learn, and take action against Islamophobia.
