Eucharist at Paris Hill
September 9, 2023, 4:30 pm–6:30 pm
All are invited to a celebration of Holy Eucharist at 4:30 pm on Saturday, September 9th at St. Paul’s Paris Hill. Among other holy things, we will be marking the feast day of David Pendelton Oakerhater, delayed by a week. Clergypersons from the Utica-Rome district will be leading the service, with Joanna Benskin of St. James’ Clinton celebrating. Come join us for an opportunity to worship in the oldest diocesan building, accompanied by a wide variety of music including the restored organ If the weather is cooperative, picnicking and exploring the historic parish cemetery may be enjoyed before the service. For those at the worship leader training at New Hartford earlier in the day, Paris Hill is just a short drive down Rt. 12. If you can’t join us on site, we will be livestreaming the service on Facebook live using this link: https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Religious-Organization/St-Johns-Episcopal-Church-1029621807092782/
or by following the instructions on the St. John’s Oneida website, stjohnsoneida.org.
