Our Church Leadership Resource Group is open to clergy, staff, vestry, volunteers—anyone who leads in the parish! May's meeting will explore the congregational development model "Gather-Transform-Send." The model proposes that the primary task of a Christian congregation can be described this way: "The unique purpose and work of a congregation is to gather those called by God into Christ’s body, the Church—a community of transformation of mind, heart, and action—and to send these same people into the world both to be and to act as God’s loving and transforming presence."

Speak Faith is a yearlong program for Central New York Episcopalians to explore our faith and get courageous sharing it. Online group meetings focus on topics like the Bible, how we talk about God, Anglican history and identity, and faith and justice. In each session, we go deep with a guest teacher and reflection in small groups. Between sessions we stay connected through prayer partnerships, personal study, and fun activities.

Every other month, we meet on Zoom to share what works and how we're responding to current challenges and opportunities. At our June meeting, we'll talk about our hopes for our congregations, experiments we'd like to try, and the challenges we're facing.
