Ms. Sarah Alamond, Temporary Communications Specialist
Sarah is filling in for Meredith while she is on maternity leave. She is the Parish Administrator and Communications Coordinator at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Liverpool. She is also the Communications Coordinator at Grace Episcopal Church, Syracuse. In her free time, she is also a freelance web designer.
The Rev. Canon John Crosswaite, Canon to the Ordinary
John assists Bishop DeDe in discerning and implementing a vision for our diocesan mission and ministries, and in administering the work of the Diocese. He also works with clergy, congregations, districts and other groups to nurture leadership and foster healthy spiritual environments, and oversees the diocesan process for formation toward Holy Orders (priesthood and the diaconate).
Ms. Cathy Hobart, Controller
Cathy works with the Diocesan Board to oversee the diocesan budget. She is also the benefits administrator for the Diocese. Cathy can also assist parishes with questions related to payroll, employee benefits, and financial matters, including: pledges and assessments, 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, audits, and investments (including the Unified Investment Fund).
Ms. Kathleen McDaniel, Executive Assistant to the Bishop & Corporate Secretary
Kathleen oversees the Office of the Bishop and manages the Bishop’s calendar, including visitations. She also manages licensing for lay ministries, is the secretary for the Diocesan Board and the Commission on Ministry, and is the staff liaison for various committees and commissions.
Ms. Meredith Kadet Sanderson, Director of Communications
Meredith oversees all diocesan communications, including The Messenger, this website, and social media accounts. She is the primary press contact for the Diocese. She can also provide parishes with advice about communications strategy.
Meredith will be on maternity leave from approximately May 26th through early August, 2017. During this period, please contact the main diocesan office or Ms. Sarah Alamond, Temporary Communications Specialist.
The Rev. Canon Carrie Schofield-Broadbent, Canon for Transition and Church Development
Carrie works with clergy and congregations in times of transition, and collaborates with the clergy, laity and congregations of our diocese to cultivate and grow dynamic, healthy, invitational congregations and ministries that are relevant to their contexts and deeply rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
