Over 140 churches, synagogues and meeting houses throughout New York State—including many CNY Episcopal churches—will open their doors on May 5th and 6th for the New York Landmarks Conservancy’s annual Sacred Sites Open House Weekend. Spend a day or two exploring beautiful religious architecture, enjoying special music, and learning about these institutions’ important cultural and social programs.
This year’s theme, Sacred Sounds and Settings, focuses on music and artistic performance in sacred space. Churches are also offering tours and other special activities. Following is a list of Episcopal churches in the Diocese of Central New York that are participating in the event, including special concerts and performances:
