Speak Faith is a yearlong program for Central New York Episcopalians to explore our faith and get courageous sharing it. Online group meetings focus on topics like the Bible, how we talk about God, Anglican history and identity, and faith and justice. In each session, we go deep with a guest teacher and reflection in small groups. Between sessions we stay connected through prayer partnerships, personal study, and fun activities.

Our Church Leadership Resource Group is open to clergy, staff, vestry, volunteers—anyone who leads in the parish! May's meeting will explore the congregational development model "Gather-Transform-Send." The model proposes that the primary task of a Christian congregation can be described this way: "The unique purpose and work of a congregation is to gather those called by God into Christ’s body, the Church—a community of transformation of mind, heart, and action—and to send these same people into the world both to be and to act as God’s loving and transforming presence."
Bishop DeDe Duncan-Probe invites all clergy of the Diocese of Central New York to a Fall Clergy Retreat on Tuesday, October 4th, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, 120 West 5th Street, Oswego. Lunch will be provided, and there will be a hybrid option for those unable to attend in person.
Sacred Ground is The Episcopal Church's film-and-readings-based small-group dialogue series on race, grounded in faith. Sacred Ground circles are forming all over the Diocese! If you're looking to join a Sacred Ground circle, Karen Anderson (St. James' Clinton) will host an online group this fall. The Small Church Resource Group is for leaders from our smallest churches (average Sunday attendance of less than 30). Every other month, we meet on Zoom to share what works and how we're responding to current challenges and opportunities. At our October meeting, we'll be looking ahead to Advent and Christmas.
